M27 / NGC 6853 – The Dumbbell Nebula

Facts

The Dumbbell Nebula is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Vulpecula about 1360 ly away. This object was first discovered by Charles Messier in 1764, and was the very first planetary nebula to be discovered.
